Scout Troop 408 had 18 new Scouts join this month, and They're busy getting them ready for their first campout.

At Monday’s meeting, they taught the new Scouts how to set up, take down, and care for the Troop’s tents

It’s much easier for the boys if they have set up a tent at least once indoors before they get to a campsite.

The tent in the pictures below, is one of the tents the VFW Post 1581 donated to Troop 408.  They’re holding up well, and they continue to get a lot of use out of them!
