My Team Triumph – Omaha is an athletic ride-along program created for children, teens, adults and veterans with disabilities who would normally not be able to experience events such as marathons, triathlons or road races. Because we are a non-profit, we rely on donations from our ever-generous supporters. Your contribution will go directly to purchasing racing mobility chairs for our athletes, race entry fees for Team Captains and Angels, and logistics support for our volunteers.
As with many other non-profit organizations and business, we have taken a hit during the COVID crisis. We were forced to suspend our participation in races and events, and the financial toll has caused the nationwide non-profit to re-organize. Many of the benefits and support we received from a national level have disappeared, forcing us to source local solutions to things such as insurance, web-page hosting and fundraising. Based on trending COVID and hospitalization rates, and with your generous financial support, we hope to stage a comeback in the first half of 2022.
